Before
Poets of the Fall Mark
has spent much time as a vocalist in several rock
bands. None of them released official recordings.
His the most significant project is Playground
in 90th. The band has written 14 pretty songs that
never saw the light.
Ollie
Tukiainen
At
the time of PoTF gathering
guitarist of the band was 26 years old, and Ollie
has conducted his youth by styding in jazz conservatory
of Oulunkula. He did not play in any bands, except
of jazz quintet named Pohjoinen
Syke, which Ollie entered on SuomiJazz-2001
festival. No records have been made.
Markus
Kaarlonen
Markus
got a place in the band because of his extensive experience
of playind and production music. In the age of 17
he participated Horizon Party-90, a computer music
festival in Sweden, with Space Debris made in *.mod
format, having for that moment no slightest music
knowledges, and assigned first place. Year after Markus
won again, for that time in similar competition in
Finland, with Beyond Music instrumental. Then he joined
Assembly contest. Hereinafter Markus put
in Internet both of his cyberhits, attaching to them
three new works and interesting comments
with detailed description of creating process.
Getting popularity as Kapu, or
Captain, PoTF
keyboardist has worked with Dance
Nation, Aikakone,
Image bands. Later helped
with sound mixing of Max Payne and a finnish movie
Levottomat («Restless»).
Also worked in Futuremark, putting into 3DMark05 a
new fresh PoTF song -
Lift (Me Higher).
